Happy holidays everyone! Well this year is certainly different than every other one that I’ve ever experienced, I’m just glad to be here and able to celebrate right now. Since this website is dedicated to the Lost Generation who came of age with WWI and the roaring 20s, I thought we’d do a series of posts on Christmas during that decade of excess. Of course for everyone it wasn’t a wild decade of partying, millions of regular folks across the country celebrated Christmas without much change. Let’s look at Christmas hundred years ago, beginning with some great slideshows I found on Youtube. (Thanks to Nostalgia Channel for these uploads!)
Enjoy these and be on the lookout for our next 1920s Christmas post!
