Hendaye

Hendaye is a town in southwestern France.1 It is a border town with Spain, and lies on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean and the Pyrenees mountains.2

In fiction

Part of Ernest Hemingway’s posthumous novel The Garden of Eden (1986) takes place in Hendaye.3
